Utah summer trip

I flew into Utah the night Blake finished the Bar. I love the feeling of landing in SLC and taking in the glorious dry heat. Nothing beats Utah summers. Our first second stop was meeting beautiful baby Elle! Our real first stop was Holiday Oil for a dirty diet coke and chocolate Dunford donut. Just take my word for it that this is the best donut in the world. Visiting Elle was so fun! This angel has been a long time coming and we are so happy for Lisa and Brett. They are the cutest parents and Elle is perfect. Her lips are to die for. It's crazy to realize L and I have been friends for going on 13 years now....

The baby party continued when we met my cousin Cori's little babe Nixon.
He so cute and looks just like his momma. Blake is the ultimate baby whisperer.

The next day we headed up to Park City to check out the Sky Coaster. Back in my day, we had to slide down the concrete tube of death called the Alpine Slide but now they have a fancy roller coaster track. It was awesome and Blake screamed like a girl.

After scoring some deals at the outlets, we hit up Neapolitan Pizzeria in Sugarhouse.
SLC is giving DC a run for its money in the foodie scene.

A trip home isn't complete without baking with mom. We whipped up a delicious fresh peach cobbler. I love Utah produce and this didn't disappoint. 

The biggest thing DC is lacking is SHAVE ICE.
We had to make lots of stops to satisfy my summer long craving.

Then we headed off for #zionsroadtrip2013 !
